Now on to the Design teams "in between" week, I am still keeping with the theme and used my die cuts for layering the super cute Sassy image Smitten  and a border punch for my scalloped edge.

Having another play today, I love piecing all the little embellishments together as I go along, this is a piece I made for the top of a lovely fabric box I have had for years, this is similar to the last card I made but instead I used brown tones, inking, distressing and and gold embossing.

Linda set our theme for Sassy Cheryl's challenge for the next two weeks, I used the super cute image " Pigtail Gabby" Gabby is in her garden filled with little bird houses for my challenge this week :)

An important announcement:

Starting in February (that's next week already!), our challenges will run for 2-weeks rather than weekly! That's right...Sassy Cheryl Challenges will take place the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month!! That'll give you two full weeks to get your cards and projects entered!!

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week # 202 All about hearts

This weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge theme was set by Angie and we are using hearts on our cards /projects, I used one of the flower pot  images and the quote from the Sassy Cheryl digital set Patience secret, I coloured with promarkers and highlighted with glossy accents, this is an 8x8 card larger than the cards I usually make but the paper was 8x8 and I didn't want to lose the pattern.
