At last I found time to make a few quick Christmas cards.

My Christmas Workshop.

These are the cards we made at the workshop yesterday, the styles included an aged christmas stocking a Chic party dress, a gift token holder, a pop up card two cute snowflake embossed cards and little flap card , we had a great day and I look forward to the next workshop, Watch my blog for details.

Kates Sketch challenge.

Kate set a Layout sketch challenge for the CS Christmas party, I made a digital hybrid card instead using the sketch, it is slightly different but close enough ( I think ).

I love these images, and feel with this card less is more... I felt it was missing a sentiment but think it works ok without one.

This is Kiki's Christmas Party Challenge...

Well, here it goes, it's simple. Make a x-mas card using whatever you want, BUT without adhesives (no glue, no double sided tape, no herma, no glue dots, no sticky pads, etc) You can use: staples, brads, clips, eyelets...use your imagination ...

This card is made from one A4 card folded to make a card with two sections for tags,no glues or tapes were used , I used eyelets and staples to secure it. As a lot of House don't have chimneys now and I'm sure the question pops up as to how Santa will get into the house? so this card is intended for Santa and the tags read .....

This is your key to our House,

Let yourself in ... quiet as a mouse.

Please leave some gifts under the tree,

We have been very good you see.

Please eat the biscuits if you may, And leave the key on the way,

Thank you for the gifts galore.

PaperPlay Challenge week 3 Pink and White..

The PaperPlay Challenge this week was set by Karen and is Pink and White ( no surprises there Karen =0) I'm surprised you allowed the white though )...I suppose you would call this a Digital Hybrid card ,I love this image and used it at my last workshop , today I dressed it up to match the challenge with some scallop punched white card ,vellum and a pink brad and ribbon oh and a couple of vellum flourishes.

Christmas Tilda.

I altered this Tilda image a little bit to make it look like she was hanging christmas stockings instead of decorating a Christmas tree.

PaperPlay Challenge week 2.

The Paperplay challenge this week is to make a card or layout using 2 patterened papers, ribbon and a stamped image. ( ok I sneaked in a third pp for the flourish and flower) .I used all of my favourites on this card, I love ribbons, gems and flourishes.

These fantastic cards came from Lyndas twin daughters Amy and Ciara who are six and very talented. Look at that drawing and writing and they even used all my favourite colours . I love both cards and am going to enjoy the kit kat with a cup of Bewleys tea.

Workshop cards,

Well I had my first workshop today and am very pleased it went so well, it was great to meet up with familiar faces and also meet new people, It was a busy but relaxing day and these are the cards everyone finished, I am looking forward to the next workshop and will have details here as soon as I confirm the location.

PaperPlay Challenge...

Week one of the PaperPlay Challenge has kicked off today and the first challenge is to use Blue and Brown and also to use a scallop somewhere on your project.

Winter Tilda.

I love to mix rubber stamp images with digi backgrounds and thats exactly what I did here with a winter Tilda and hero art dog.

Sketch card challenge.

I made this card as part of a card sketch challenge set by Helen on the Craft supplies forum, and as it is Breast awareness month I used this great image of the little girl with the breast awareness ribbon.
