Sassy Cheryl's challenge week # 196 Your favourite Sassy Cheryl card from 2013

For Sassy Cheryl's challenge this week we are choosing our favourite card ( made by ourselves) from 2012, I loved looking back over my Sassy cards because each week I post my cards to my blog and then forget about them so it was nice to look back on them, I chose this card because I love the idea that Winter Sally is a tiny Thumbelina sized image sitting on a little butterfly, and I remember enjoying making the card, I cut the butterfly with my Cameo Silhouette and coloured Sally with pro markers.

For this weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge we are using our favourite Holiday colours, I don't really have any favourite colours but Love a blue and white winter scene, I made a shadow box card using two Sassy Images "Admiring the star" and in the background another Sassy image catching the snow, I cut the trees with my cameo machine and the two borders and tiny snowflakes are a die cut.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week 188 Use Punches and/or Dies

Sassy Pat is this weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge hostess and her chosen theme is "Punches and/or dies" I used one of my favourite spellbinders die for my background and the beautiful Sassy image Warm Winter cocoa she can be found along with all Sassy Cheryl's images HERE in the shop. I used some cosy Autumn colours to compliment the sepia tones I used on the image.

This week we have an " Anything goes " challenge over on Sassy Cheryl's, so grab your favourite Sassy image and make anything you like, enter it in the challenge  and you could win more Sassy images to play with, I used my all time favourite Sassy Cheryl image " Share the love " I LOVE her and never get fed up with her. The background is a spellbinders die cut and umbrella is a Marianne Creatables die cut I coloured with promarkers and added a little stickles glitter.

Sassy Cheryls challenge week #184 Lilac and Lavender!

 

Jasmina set the theme for this weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge with Lilac & Lavender, I cut a bird in a branch frame with my Cameo silhouette and added the image " a penny for your thoughts" because she looks so relaxed looking up at the tree, I also added a bird house which I cut from another Sassy image, Bird house on the hill and added the sentiment from " Patience secret" I am a bit all over the place this week :) as usual I coloured with promarkers and added glossy accents to highlight, and just to add a little bit of texture I added some pearls.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge challenge week #182 Off the page!

 

 

 

" Off the page" is the theme this week for Joann's ( Sassy Raggedy) Sassy Cheryl's challenge, I used A good read Maddie  and stacked up the set of books you get included in the set, you also get the sentiment ( See below) the swirl is cut with my cameo machine. I love to colour in sepia tones and think the books look old style so that's what I did, although  Cheryl's images are mostly cute images they still look great in sepia/mono tones  I coloured with promarkers, highlighting with glossy accents.

 We are making a splash this week with our Sassy Cheryl challenge and Ann set the theme, I used an oldie but goodie for my card and kept it clean and simple to focus on the image.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week #179 " B&W Photo look"

Cathy set this weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge and we are using black and white to create an old b&w photo look, I tried to make my card look like a black and white photo using photo corners which were always used in old photo albums, I then layered it on a coloured background to look like a frame adding three tiny pencils and a ruler and of course a few apples for the teacher :), I used the image " backpack Max" and coloured with promarkers.

 For this weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge we are making anything but a card for Cathy's challenge, I made a little handbag from a paper pad I have ages and was waiting for a chance to use it so it came in handy this week! I added Sally and her little heart balloon ( obviously without her balloon :)) you can find Sally HERE in Sassy Cheryl's shop, we would love to see your take on the theme, all you have to do to join us is follow the weekly theme and Use a Sassy Cheryl image.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week #177 " Vintage Cream and White!

Vintage cream and white is Ann's choice of theme this week in Sassy Cheryl's challenge, I used Sally from the set " Were all ears" you can see the set below ...I love to colour in sepia tones so loved this challenge, although  Cheryl's images are mostly cute images they still look great in sepia/mono tones I added an old Disney " special bonus ticket" dated 1957 to keep in with the olde style, I coloured with promarkers.
