(Click the highlighted words or the link in the side bar )

Sizzix cards...

These are a few of the sample cards and album covers I made for the classes I taught in Galway this weekend, the first class was a mini accordion album demonstrating how to make up the album and decorate the panels with tags, pockets, photos, stamped images, ribbons etc and the second class showed different techniques to achieve with sizzix dies layering, chalking, inking, doodling and even icing a birthday cake in the flavour of your choice =0) .....I really enjoyed the classes , it was great to meet up with new like minded people and despite the terrible weather I had a great weekend in Galway.

Gothic Arch " Shades of White "

The Theme for Gothic Arches this week is " Shades of White" This was more difficult than I first thought, I love using white but to only use it with little or no other colours was strange because no matter how many layers and embellishments I used it still looked bare.I painted the background with acrylic paint then layered textured papers, flowers, buttons, ribbon and some metal charms around this woman image which I love.

Tilda and Co Challenge.

The Tilda and Co challenge this week was to follow a sketch. I drew the cake and added doodles a butterfly and pink beads, then added diamond glaze to finish.

I love a crafty challenge and when Lynda gave a step by step salt dough tutorial on her blog I
had to give it a go, mine is not as perfect as the ones on Lynda's blog but it is my first
attempt=0) Thanks for the challenge.

Sizzix

I am teaching two card making classes with An Siopa Bui soon and one of the classes is using Sizzix dies, these three cards are among the sample cards I have made showing how to build up, add colour and achieve different looks from the same die cuts.
( There are more cards made with sizzix dies along the side bar under Labels.)

Midsummer Megascrap class 2 ...

I finished my second project at last...This was the Mini pop up album we made in the Lance Anderson class at the Midsummer Megascrap. We finished the pop up ball and some of the pages on the day and finished the rest of the book at home. I love this book because there is so much detail with tags , bows and flaps making it even more interesting and an album to play with.

Donna's Class at the Midsummer MegaScrap

This is my album from Donna's Class at the Midsummer MegaScrap here in Dublin..It was a fantastic day and I loved both classes. I kept my album plain and simple with clean edges because I was using photos of my son I didn't want it too flowery or fussy. There are eight pages altogether making a sixteen page album full of photos and embellishments so it feels really full and crammed packed even though I kept mine simple but you could let your imagination go wild with this one.

Cardmaking

These are some of the cards I made while teaching card making with Kerry from An Siopa Bui today.I really enjoyed meeting new people, some who were already familiar with me even though I had never met them before so if any of you are looking in her please leave a comment to let me know =0) The four square cards were a huge hit and they can also be made up into an album , I really enjoyed making these. The top two cards were demonstrating stamping and embossing.
Thanks everyone for making it a lovely enjoyable day.
