This week Jeni set the challenge with the theme " Thinking of love "and we have Sassy Cheryl’s first ever Blog Hop, for my card I have used the Sassy image Ice cream snowman, he is so in love with ice cream and cant wait to get stuck in,

Mami Doodles Challenge,Handmade/altered gift items!

This week Trinh challenges us to make a handmade/altered gift items.I made a little gift card using Mami Doodles "Midori" image, I love these images they are so easy to colour and cut out, I altered a little gift bag adding butterflies and pearls and filled with sweets.

This week's Sassy Cheryl's challenge is set by Jen and we are "Counting down to Christmas " I used the image Jumping Jack santa, I printed out a calendar,cut out the image and rolled it to give it a curved shape then mounted it with 3D foam pads and finished off with some fluffy snowballs.

Mami Doodles Challenge " Use something " Fuzzy "

 Its Mami Doodles time again and Vera set the theme for this weeks challenge, we are to use something " Fuzzy " use felt, soft flowers, flocking or anything that can be considered fuzzy on your project, I used a little felt bear motif ( I thought it looked like the little bear the boy is holding )

Waiting for Santa.

A great time is coming, I wish it were here,

The very best time in the whole of the year;

I'm counting each day on my fingers and thumbs

The weeks that must pass before Santa Claus comes.

Then when the first snowflakes begin to come down,

And the wind whistles sharp and the branches are brown,

I'll not mind the cold, though my fingers it numbs,

For it brings the time nearer when Santa Claus comes.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge week #37 " Use some Ribbon or tull "

This week  Jen challenges us to use " ribbon or tull " in the Sassy Cheryl's challenge, I used the image "Christmas candy cane girl" she reminds me of a 20s style girl so I went with a shabby vintage style card, I made my flower with tull and organza, finishing off with some diamonds and pearls, the little envelopes were made with a punch.

Sassy Cheryl's Challenge week #36 Fall/ Autumn Colours!

 This week Sassy Cheryls Challenge is to use, The colours of Autumn, so I went with oranges, browns and green. I made a window card using sheer organza fabric with gold swirls and acetate with die cut frame and label,

Mami Doodles challenge week #13 " Anything but a card "

This weeks Mami Doodles challenge is to " Make anything but a card " I made  a Halloween party box and added the Mami Doodles  image " The Witch " To join us in the challenge all you have to do is make " anything but a card " and use a stamped or digital image, if you join us you will be in with  a chance to win some beautiful Mami Doodles images for yourself.

This weeks Sassy Cheryl's Challenge is set by Lily and is to make anything but a square so I made an oval card, I used the image " Bumbling Bear Stamp " and a little bee rubber stamp which reads " You are one in a Buzzillion ... " the leaves and small flowers are punched and I added some liquid pearls to the centre of each flower.

Playing around today and this is what I came up with, the dresser is a rubber stamp from Magnolia and the little girl is a digital image from Mami Doodles, her name is " Madeline " she is one of my favourite Mami Doodles images and I think she goes well with the dresser, I used a chipboard swirl and punched out the butterflies with a Martha Stewart punch.

Sassy Cheryls Challenge this week is set by Tracey and is " Paper Piecing " I love this image " Fat, Round Snowman " I made an oval easel card and paper pieced his red coat, I also added paper piecing to his scarf and buttons.

I made this card using a Phindy's Place image, the flowers are coloured with distress inks, stamped with brown memento ink and punched out, the centre is punched with the Martha Stewart button punch and inked.

I made this card for a sketch challenge over on Split Coast stampers, I changed it around a tiny bit by having the smaller strip at the bottom of the card and the longer in the centre, the image is Sassy Cheryl's  " Oh where oh Where ".

This week over on Sassy Cheryl's Cathy challenges us to use our favourite Sassy Cheryl image, this is the very first image I purchased from SC and it is still my favourite, I love her, she is called " share the love " I used natural coloured papers and colours to keep it soft and a little sprinkle of prisma glitter for a bit of delicate sparkle.

Mami Doodles challenge #10, Card for a boy using some red.

The Mami Doodles challenge this week is to make a card for a boy and add some red, I used Elisa's new  cool boy image " Nick with skateboard " and made a pop up card, I embossed some silver card to look like a metal grid, it ended up like a little pop up book with a verse and cover.
