So I would like to say a big Thank You to the very talented Elisa for including me in her Mami Doodles design team which I have been part of since day one and for sharing all her beautiful Mami Doodles images that I have not only enjoyed  for making my dt cards but have also enjoyed designing cards for many of my workshops!
 I will really Miss seeing Elisa's images !

I LOVE this new Sassy Cheryl's image it brings back memories :)  I set this weeks challenge with Spots and dots, the image I used is " Noah plays pirate in the bath  "I coloured him in promarkers and used glossy accents to the bubbles.

Mami Doodles last Challenge!

I am really genuinly sad to say that this is Mami Doodles last Challenge, and what makes it even worse is that Elisa is closing the Mami Doodles shop after two years of creating so many beautiful images!

I have used thousands of rubber stamps and digital images over the years and have to say Mami Doodles is way up there with the best adorable images! It has been a pleasure to work with them.

 I will miss seeing Elisa's beautiful images and joining the dt each challenge... and am so glad to have been part of the design team since day one and have loved using Mami Doodles images both for the challenges and at my monthly workshops!

Anne set the theme for this weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge with " Be my valentine" I used the image SALLYS LETTER and coloured with promarkers using buttercup toned colours only, I embellished with fimo and paper flowers ( bought not made) toned down with distress ink.

I made this card for a Facebook group challenge, all we had to do was use a heart somewhere on our card, I used my new dies to cut the heart and butterfly and embossing folder for script, I wanted the heart and butterfly to be the main features on my card so I left the background layers plain with burgundy card to add colour.

Mami Doodles Challenge week #42 Make a card for a loved one!

This weeks Mami Doodles Challenge is to make a card for a loved one... well I stepped outside the box a little with my card and instead of a heart/valentine style card I made a card suitable for a little girls Communion, a special day that will be celebrated by so many little girls and boys soon.
I used the gorgeous image THE STAR FAIRY and Elisa removed part of the image meaning it doesnt have to be cut out and can be used with your nesties. I embellished with a gold diecut, stickles and pearls, I even gave her a pearl piece of Holy Communion lol ( well I do get carried away sometimes lol )

Sassy time again and this week Jeni sets a "light blue and brown challenge" this little miss is "Polly's tea cup" each time I see her I think of the rhyme Polly put the kettle on so Cheryl popped her into a teacup, and she is perfect:) I love sending a cup of cheer so added a little verse inside and a tea bag!

Mami Doodles challenge week #40 Altered Art/ Home Decor

I had all sorts of ideas for this weeks Mami Doodles challenge but in the end I went for an altered box with matching card using the Mami Doodles image THE STAR FAIRY,  I painted the box with white soft sheen paint, decorated with papers and used chipboard for the raised lid, I then filled it with rose petal soaps.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week #94 " White on White"

This weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge is one of my favourites " White on White" so we are having a Blizzard !!!! I made up a little snow scene using lots of frosty glitter, embossing folders and nestie shapes, there were lots of Sassy snowmen I could have used but decided on " UP IN ARMS " snowman because he looks like he is enjoying all that snow and couldnt be happier :)

I had a little bit of time to make a " Just because" card this week and was dying to use my new Waltzing mouse stamp set, Candy jar Christmas fillers .. I LOVE these stamps and had great fun colouring them with my promarkers and putting them into their little Candy jar cabinet, I cut the frame and hinges with my cricut machine, the front is covered with acetate but the photo doesnt show it well.

This weeks Mami Doodles challenge is " Make it shine " no problem at all I love using bling :) ... this card is a bit different for me as I dont use darker colours a lot ...
