Mami Doodles challenge week # 31 Use some Flowers!

The theme for this weeks Mami Doodles challenge is to use " Flowers " I used the Mami Doodles image Lara with roses I also followed Elisas shadow tutorial here I love playing with it and the effect it gives, I also added a soft fluffy flower and coloured with pro markers... All you have to do to be in with a chance to win some beautiful Mami Doodles images is join us in the challenge,
You dont have to use a Mami Doodles image but if you do your name will be entered into the draw twice.

Sassy Cheryls challenge week #70 "Outside the box"

Judy set this weeks " Outside the box" Sassy Cheryl's challenge,   I used the image " Pencil girl " perfect for Teachers cards and back to school cards,  there is also a Pencil boy image and two images with glasses, as usual I coloured with pro markers and used glossy accents to add some sheen, I finally got around to using my new quilling dies and this is what I came up with!

Mami Doodles challenge, Week #29 "Heavy Metal"

This weeks Mami Doodles challenge is " Heavy Metal " I did a double take on this and went for a heavy metal guitar player and distressed some embossed silver card and darkened with black ink to give a rough metal look, I used the image Nick with skateboard which usually had a skate board but I replaced it with a rock guitar.

This weeks Mami Doodles theme is " Lets Party" I went all dotty for this challenge  ( second time I went dotty this week !!! )  I used two Mami Doodles images Party Dress and Mice birthday,  I paper pieced the little girls dress and hat and then coloured with pro markers, I tied the card with ribbon to make it look like a present and coloured with lots of bright fun colours.

Sassy Cheryls challenge week #67 " Lets get Patriotic"

We are getting " Patriotic " over on Sassy Cheryl's this week, Jeni set the challenge and I went all dotty in Green, white and orange for my Country, I used the image  A simple gift of a flower coloured with pro markers, and replaced one of the flowers with a flag!

Crafting Ireland

My card was published in Irelands New online magazine !

I answered a submission call from Irelands first online crafting magazine with this card for the theme " A stitch in time" and was delighted to be told it has been published,  I faux stitched the outline layers and coloured the beautiful little girl with pro markers then made a silk ribbon flower to embellish.

Sassy Cheryls challenge week #64

Well Jeni went all out and set this weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge "Colour on Kraft"  firstly I didnt have any kraft paper/card and secondly I have never coloured directly on to it , soooooo had to get my thinking cap on, I eventually found some paper on the cover of a paper pad so I was on my way .... now to colour !!! my pro markers were dull so I tried my coloured fine liners and liked the effect, I added a white gel pen and left well enough alone. I embellished with ribbon, pearls and a butterfly coloured with chalks.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week #64 " Ribbons and bow's"

It's Sassy Cheryl time again and this week Jodi set the Ribbons and Bows challenge, I love ribbon so this was a great challenge for me, I printed out the image " Single double heart flower" twice and layered the petals from one of the images to give a 3D effect to the flower, I love the way Cheryl sneaks a little laydbird in to so many of her images and this one is no different.

Mami Doodles Challenge week #24 "Crazy for Kraft"

Well someone likes my flowers :) a tiny ladybird has moved in since I took the first photos!

This weeks Mami Doodles challenge is to use Kraft somewhere on your project, I used the image " Shamrock fairy " she is so beautiful I thought it was a shame to only use her once a year for St Patrick's day so I covered the shamrocks with punched flowers and coloured the shamrocks on her hair pink to look like flowers.

I set this weeks Mami Doodles challenge " Use a punch or diecut " I love this new image Shopaholic it is perfect for a teenager, I used a punch to make the flower and added a button and diamond to the centre I coloured the image with pro markers!
