This is my mid - week card using a Sassy Cheryl's image, I used the gorgeous image Peyton the bumbling bear and stayed with the challenge theme " use two dies and a shade of purple"

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week #209 "Use two die cuts and a shade of purple"

 

This weeks Sassy Cheryl challenge is to use at least two die cuts and a shade of purple, the challenge theme was set by Dawn, I used the image Sally's Flowers layered on two spellbinders dies the gems and one of the layers are purple but looks black in the photo.

Feels like ages since we had a Sassy Challenge, here is my clean and simple mid-week card, I love CAS although they can be a challenge to make sometimes, the shape is printed on the card so this card is all one layer, the image I used is "Travel at your own pace" and you can find it HERE along with all Sassy Cheryl's images.

Sassy Cheryls challenge week 205 " Show us your layers"

 

 

 

Sassy Cheryl's challenge theme this week is set by Joann and is  " Show us your Layers" I made a boy's card using the " Play hard or go home" image, he looks like a right bossy boots!!!  I distressed the papers to blend in with the soft sepia tones I coloured the image with!

Sassy Cheryl's image from " A gift of a flower " set.

 

This is our second week of Sassy Cheryl's " Anything goes" challenge and I am using a card we made at my Feb workshop, I used a pre coloured Sassy image from " A gift of a flower " set.... this image comes as part of a set of three images HERE and she is all ready to join Sally and her sister in last weeks challenge for the St Patricks Day parade :)

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week # 204 ... "Anything goes"

 

 

 

It's Anything goes for this weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge , I got a bit carried away with my card this week and created a little St Patricks Day scene as we are celebrating on March 17th, last year I had Noah waiting for the parade to pass so this year it's Sally ( and her little sister !!! ) ready and waiting at the garden fence with their flag and dressed in  green white and orange.

Now on to the Design teams "in between" week, I am still keeping with the theme and used my die cuts for layering the super cute Sassy image Smitten  and a border punch for my scalloped edge.

Having another play today, I love piecing all the little embellishments together as I go along, this is a piece I made for the top of a lovely fabric box I have had for years, this is similar to the last card I made but instead I used brown tones, inking, distressing and and gold embossing.

An important announcement:

Starting in February (that's next week already!), our challenges will run for 2-weeks rather than weekly! That's right...Sassy Cheryl Challenges will take place the 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month!! That'll give you two full weeks to get your cards and projects entered!!

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week # 202 All about hearts

This weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge theme was set by Angie and we are using hearts on our cards /projects, I used one of the flower pot  images and the quote from the Sassy Cheryl digital set Patience secret, I coloured with promarkers and highlighted with glossy accents, this is an 8x8 card larger than the cards I usually make but the paper was 8x8 and I didn't want to lose the pattern.

This weeks challenge will run for two weeks but the Design team will have a new card on their blogs each week ....You can join us in this weeks challenge buy uploading whatever you make to the Sassy Cheryl Challenge blog and remember TO USE A SASSY CHERYL IMAGE.
