Sassy Cheryl's challenge week #181 " Make a splash"

 We are making a splash this week with our Sassy Cheryl challenge and Ann set the theme, I used an oldie but goodie for my card and kept it clean and simple to focus on the image.

I coloured with promarkers and used glossy accents on the water.

Sassy Pat set the challenge this week over on Sassy Cheryl's, I used the image Sams chocolate cake a must for any birthday !!! I coloured with promarkers! this card could be used for a birthday card or any occasion really, you can join us by making a card to suite the theme and remember to use a

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week #179 " B&W Photo look"

Cathy set this weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge and we are using black and white to create an old b&w photo look, I tried to make my card look like a black and white photo using photo corners which were always used in old photo albums, I then layered it on a coloured background to look like a frame adding three tiny pencils and a ruler and of course a few apples for the teacher :), I used the image " backpack Max" and coloured with promarkers.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week #178 Anything but a card!

 

 

 For this weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge we are making anything but a card for Cathy's challenge, I made a little handbag from a paper pad I have ages and was waiting for a chance to use it so it came in handy this week! I added Sally and her little heart balloon ( obviously without her balloon :)) you can find Sally HERE in Sassy Cheryl's shop, we would love to see your take on the theme, all you have to do to join us is follow the weekly theme and Use a Sassy Cheryl image.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week #177 " Vintage Cream and White!

Vintage cream and white is Ann's choice of theme this week in Sassy Cheryl's challenge, I used Sally from the set " Were all ears" you can see the set below ...I love to colour in sepia tones so loved this challenge, although  Cheryl's images are mostly cute images they still look great in sepia/mono tones I added an old Disney " special bonus ticket" dated 1957 to keep in with the olde style, I coloured with promarkers.

All you have to do to join us in Sassy Cheryl's weekly challenges is Use a Sassy Cheryl's image and go with the given theme as simple as that, and your name will be put into the draw for two Sassy images.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week # 175 Outdoor fun and games!

 

 

 

 

 

 

I am the hostess of this weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge and I chose the theme " Outdoor fun and games" and with the fantastic weather we are having here in Ireland lately everyone is enjoying outdoors, long may it last:) Sassy Cheryl has so many fun images that would suit this challenge that it was difficult to choose which to use, in the end I chose " It's a skip rope kinda day" Maddie, I added some twine for her skipping rope and coloured with promarkers, I made the lollipop with a bead and cocktail stick.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week #174 "Hats on"

We are having a "Bling in the sun" fun challenge set by sassy Dawn this week, I love this great Sassy Cheryl's image Sassy Cinco De Mayo ..and you can get her HERE for only $1.00 . she is having so much fun dancing in the sun, I coloured her with promarkers and highlighted with glossy accents, the sun is very glittery and I added some bling to the dots.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge, week #171 " Here comes Summer"

 

 

Ann set the theme this week with Here comes summer ( not sure if the summer is coming or gone here in Ireland :(  I made a summer beach scene with Sassy Sally and Noah enjoying the sun,sea and sand, the images I used are A penny for your thoughts ( Sally) and He is loved ( Noah) pre- coloured images! I enjoy making fun step scenes brings me back to my childhood :)

Cathy is our host again this week and her chosen theme is " Stitch away" I used the image Quiet Moments I added faux stitching to border my frame and along two corners, I coloured with promarkers and distressed the edges, to join us all you have to do is Use a Sassy Cheryl's image and stitch away !

Cathy set this weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge with the theme " Lace and handmade flowers" , I used one of my favourite images, Pollys tea cup,you can find her HERE, I coloured with promarkers and paper pieced the cup, I only realised after I took the photo that Pollys pearl in her ribbon took it on itself to move, ah sure no one will notice lol !!!! Sassy Pat set the theme for this weeks challenge with " Girl Power" I stayed Girly for my challenge card with a fancy background, pearls, diamonds, hearts and flowers, lots of things I dont use on a boys card, I used the image Patience secret which is available on a sheet of rubber stamps HERE and also digital images HERE

Sassy Cheryl's challenge #164 " April showers and spring flowers"

This weeks Sassy Cheryl's challenge was set by Dawn " Spring flowers and April showers " I merged two Sassy images for my challenge card, Callies little umbrella and Fun in spring  ... I went easy on the embellishments as there was so much going on in the beautiful images, I added the " Happy" text ..... coloured with promarkers, distressed the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink and highlighted with glossy accents,

Sassy Dawn set the theme for Sassy Cheryl's challenge this week with " Monochromatic" I love to use sepia tones so challenged myself to use the same image I used for the challenge last week and try to make it look different, so I changed the shape of the image by removing one of the little birds, I LOVE this Maddie image " Quiet Inspiration! you can find it HERE along with the extra images included.

Sassy Cheryl's challenge week #162 Follow a sketch using a Sassy Cheryl's image!

I am this weeks host again for Sassy Cheryl's
challenge and I made up a sketch to follow, you can see the sketch and challenge details HERE, each time Cheryl makes up a new image I fall in love with it and think "thats it, thats my very favourite image !!!!" then she adds a new image and I think the same again " so I think I have to admit they are all my favourites, this one is a littly beauty in her fancy swimming hat and you will find here here, she is called "Quiet inspiration"I coloured her with promarkers and used distress ink for the sky background.
